Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies

These treats will be soft and chewy.

1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
6 oz. Heath bars, chopped
6 oz. milk chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla and beat until blended.
Add flour, baking soda, and salt and stir until just mixed.
Add heath bars and chocolate chips and stir.
Using a small ice cream scoop, put balls of cookie dough on a cookie sheet and bake until just brown, about 8 minutes. If available, use a convection setting on the oven.
Makes approximately 3 dozen.
